I recommend this book for every romance lovers. Frierson creates such compelling characters that make you believe that love triumphs over adversity. Set in living in a southern small town this interracial couple go through a lot to be together But the love they both had for each other is what good romance reading is all about Ben, WOW that Ben he was amazing and a true gentleman and Ceelee had I just finished this last week and my oh my what a great love story.


Frierson has just joined a group of my favorite authors. It was sweet and a little spicy. This isn’t pretty for people, it wasn’t in the 60’s and it still isn’t for some couples even today. He had to say somethingthough, anything to cover the gaping silence that now separated them, but when he opened his mouth to speak, her fingers stilled his words.

Other than that, this was a good read and I enjoyed it. The people so filled with prejudge and stereotype-filled thought patterns that they didn’t even think twice about the impenetrable hate falling from their mouths.
