I noticed that there are elements of reversed propaganda at the beginning of this book and that was the first thing, which put me off a little bit.

Very interesting, but reads like a selvatci. This sounded like my kind of book, but I felt like I was reading a text book. Last time I read it was a month ago and I got stuck, that book was so boring but maybe that’s because I’m young, I don’t really think it’s wow.

I couldn’t get passed half way. I liked everything in this book. To view it, click here. While the details did tug my heartstrings like the woman sold as a concubine who had to fear the servants it was so depressing that I didn’t see the point in having to read all the extra unnecessary dates and facts just to be depressed! I don’t pretend to know what was it during the Cultural revolution or before that.
Welvatici like it the first 80 pages got stuck at but then her life got idk annoying for me. The fact is that she went to study in Europe. I thought the people who wrote the reviews on the cover were better writers.
